Topigs Norsvin Canada Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Marcos Amorim as National Sales Manager, effective September 30th, 2025. In his new role, Marcos will be responsible for leading the regional sales teams and co-ordinating strategic sales efforts across Canada.
Marcos succeeds John Sawatzky, who will be stepping down from his role as National Sales Manager and will concentrate on transitioning his responsibilities to Marcos, while maintaining his customer relationships in Manitoba to ensure a smooth and consistent customer experience.
Marcos commented: “Over the past ten years, I’ve had the privilege of working with Topigs Norsvin Canada in various roles. Most recently, as the Western Canada Sales Manager, I focused on strengthening customer relationships, advancing technical sales, and supporting innovation in swine production. I am deeply grateful for the trust and collaboration of our partners and team members throughout this journey. In this new role, I look forward to leading our national sales strategy, aligning regional efforts, and continuing to deliver customer-focused solutions that reflect Topigs Norsvin’s commitment to genetic excellence.”
Marcos will report directly to Managing Director Mike Shaw. “Over the course of his career with Topigs Norsvin, Marcos has held a number of important positions, most recently in Key Account Management and as Western Sales Manager. These experiences have provided him with a strong foundation of knowledge and expertise, making this appointment a natural progression in his career. I am confident that Marcos will continue to contribute significantly to the growth and success of our sales organization.”
Mike Shaw also expressed appreciation for John Sawatzky’s ongoing contributions: “His dedication to supporting both our customers and colleagues during this transition is greatly appreciated.We thank him for his continued commitment to ensuring a seamless handover and a strong customer experience.”
